• Pi Kappa Alpha gives back:  A commitment to service

 

  • Fall 2010 Community Service Report


     During the Fall 2010 quarter, Alpha Rho Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha logged 377 hours of service for the Ohio State Community.  Organizations that benefited from Pike's efforts included:

    • The Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon - 129 hours - website
    • The Ohio State University Community Commitment - 70 hours - website
    • 14 men represented Pi Kappa Alpha at Walk a Mile in her Shoes:  Sponsored by IFC and Alpha Chi Omega sorority, benefiting Gracehaven and Rahab’s Hideaway:  the only two facilities in Central Ohio for girls and women who have been victimized by domestic sex trafficking. - An article on the event can be read here.
    • Hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive Oct 21st - 40 units collected
    • Adoption and periodic clean-ups of Tuttle Park, Iuka Park, and Indianola Road
